Wayside Self Catering, Perthshire

View from the lounge

Off the beaten track, yet just off the A9 and less than 10 minutes from Perth, dog friendly Wayside lies at the heart of the Strang family’s Moneydie Farm.  The cottage sleeps five, is bright and spacious, and furnished to a high standard with all mod cons including wifi. The large lounge with fabulous views, oak floor and open fire is a great place to relax after a day out.

Only an hour from Glasgow and Edinburgh at the gateway to the Highlands, our central location makes for easy access to a host of walks, golf courses, rivers, castles, distilleries, gardens, wildlife, good food and shopping, music, culture and activities for all ages. Perth Concert Hall, Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Gleneagles, Scone Palace and Glenturret Distillery, to mention a few, are within 25 minutes by car.

The farm is manned by Norman and son, Graeme, together with help from various family members at busy times during lambing and harvest. Crops include winter wheat and spring barley in addition to 100 breeding ewes.
